I don’t give many quizzes in class, and don’t have the need really to give them online either, but if you do you might check out Quiz Press. This program works on either Mac or PC, and allows you to make a quiz rather quickly. The ability to type out a quiz quickly though strikes me as not all that great as you could easily make a template in whatever Word Processor you use. What perhaps makes this program useful is that it can generate an interactive version of the quiz and publish it as a web page. The program handles multiple question types, true/false, multiple choice, short answer (although I noticed in testing that you have to get the short answer exactly right), and gives results at the end. At $50 it seems a bit pricey for any of my needs, but if you want to publish a lot of quizzes on web pages it might be worth a look.
